Neurotoxin, such as Botox, and dermal filler, such as Juvéderm, treat different types of fine lines & wrinkles.
Botox treats active, or “dynamic” wrinkles. These are caused by repeated facial movements like furrowing your eyebrows, pursing your lips, or squinting your eyes. Juvéderm works best on smooth, or “static” wrinkles. Treatment areas include (but are not limited to) cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin, and perioral vertical lines.
